Ah, but that won't stop you from downloading and playing all our free games will it?do you think the OP will actually buy your product now or in the future?? certainly i will not buy any product from you.
One thing has nothing to do with the other. This is a free project being worked on in our spare time. If someone's going to act like an ass, then don't be surprised if people treat them in a similar manner. As has been noted, there's a way to mention these things constructively, and there's a way to come across like a troll. Posters should take a moment to consider that before typing their thoughts to understand how their post will be perceived by overworked developers who have been donating time to this project for 8 years and asking nothing in return.
I have noticed that a great many people in the adventure community can dish it out, but as soon as their own tender sensibilities are targeted, it becomes a whole different story. Why is this? Surely, if the OP wasn't an attempt at attention-seeking, the poster would at least return to clarify his points in a more constructive manner and clear things up. Just because we're also selling a product through another company doesn't mean we have to tolerate everything that gets thrown our way. You're not the first person to make such a threat (had plenty of those and worse!) and you certainly won't be the last. I'm sure you're well aware of the adage that you can't please everyone and that it's foolish to try to. All I can say is that if you want to buy our game, then buy it. If you don't, then don't. Just know that this won't have any effect on how we choose to deal with trolls or attention seekers on our forums.
