Trouble with EOF

#1 Post by 20characters » Thu Aug 28, 2008 12:05 pm

I'm having trouble defeating the gut in the EOF. I only manage to get his health down by a quarter before he defeats me. I'm a fighter with 150 strength and around 180 weapon use. Any tips?

Thanks

I hope your parry skills are up to it. If they're around 140, you should have nothing to worry about.

Entering EOF with full health and stamina is a good idea.

Learn to anticipate which attack he's gonna use and parry accordingly. Counter his own blows and keep doing that until you break through his defense. You can also jump back from his attacks and hope your hero does a lunge. Locking blades can be risky, though the odds of getting the upper hand will be higher if the hero is the one to initiate the blade lock.

If all else fails, lower the difficulty level to easy and set the co-pilot to 100% defense, 100% parry. That'll make it very hard for him to hurt you.

Getting accustomed to that two-handed scimitar control scheme is really half the battle.
