Ok what is up with the Al Emmo and QFG2 poster shipments?

#1 Post by darkgamorck » Mon Sep 15, 2008 10:47 am

Okay - so back on August 7th, I ordered the Al Emmo Collector's Edition so that I could get the official QFG2 poster. According to the page, a month later, neither item has shipped yet. I realize a few weeks ago that I was told both items had to ship together (which I presume is so that Himalya can save on the shipping) which indicates that it is the poster holding things up.

What is going on guys? Is the problem with the poster or with Al Emmo? I mean I'm in no rush to get either, but having an item put on back order for a month without being given any updates or even told that it was happening to bgein with is less than reassuring in my book. Whats the dealio?

Hmmm... I can't actually find the update on the site itself where the delay in shipping is addressed. Nonetheless, a word of advice: Email your buyers directly with updates next time around. It'll make your lives and their lives much easier.

Yup, the posters are being printed early in the morning on Monday 15th. It will probably take a day or so for them to be shipped from the printer to the fulfillment house, after which point they'll be sent out immediately.

Unfortunately, the online store we have set up at the moment doesn't really make it an easy task to collate the email addresses of users based on whether their orders have been shipped or not. Something we'll fine-tune for the future.

OK, that's the reason why the game haven't appeared in my mailbox yet!

Status for order is still "processing" when I checked today, but I can wait. I will give it away as a Christmas gift anyway, so there's still three months to go. Can't take that long to send something from the US to Europe...I hope :eek

I actually also finally purchased a hard-copy of Al Emmo, and decided to go with the collector's edition. That was only two weeks ago, though, I will check the status of my order when my jetlag wears off.

In my account it says the order has been shipped. I placed the order on 09-14. Guess I'll have to wait some more.
