AGDInteractive... you are my hero.
Okay, I hope this doesn't seem overdramatized but I really felt like spilling out my guts...
I'm here because every few months I would check to see if QFG2VGA came out, as this is one of my favorite games from childhood memory. I thought for sure, by this time, you would be gone. But I was very wrong. You had me in for a big surprise. Not only did you finish QFG2VGA, but you went back to projects you had already finished and re-released them with top-notch quality!
Thank you, AGD Interactive. If I had any money to give right now I would give you all of it for your monumental efforts and the fact that you never give up.
See the difference between us is that somehow I always give up. But you have never let me down once. And at what cost? Nothing. You do all of your work for the same reason that I started working on my own games: the cheer joy of creation.
Although I worked hard on my own games (and I always tried to put quality first), I was only ever able to release three games demos (two of which where done in AGS) in my lifetime, I never crossed the threshold of being able to say I finished a game completely. Unlike you. You've proven your self a true warrior in the gaming world.
AGD Interactive, you may not know it, but you give me as well as thousands of other game developers hope. I wish I could live up to your standards. Never quitting. Always putting 200% effort in everything.
AGD Interactive, you truely are an inspiration to all of us.
EDIT: Yes, I originally put QFG3VGA... err sorry. Mistake.

(Might want to do a quick edit and change that to QFG2VGA instead of 3...Unless 3 was secretly done and released only to a select few. In which case, slip me a copy!)

Thanks for the comments. Glad to hear that you're liking the remakes as well as the revamps!
Oh, and be sure to join the AGDI mailing list from the main website. That way you'll be informed whenever new projects are released, or when major news updates come out.

The QFG3VGA is a lie. The cake, however, is delicious.Lady Pyro wrote:(Might want to do a quick edit and change that to QFG2VGA instead of 3...Unless 3 was secretly done and released only to a select few. In which case, slip me a copy!)

What kind of demeaning remark is that? When I look out there it makes me glad I'm not you.
EDIT: Err, okay it was a joke. Boy, that makes me feel dumb. But you forget the <joke> metatags!!

No, no! I take it you've never played "Portal".
Lady Pyro and MI are quoting lyrics from the game that Brainiac brought up. The famous quote from the game is, "The Cake Is A Lie." The computer intelligence that torments you throughout the game is obsessed with cake...

Goatmeal's right, the correct response was:
"I've experiments to run.
There is research to be done."
But I'll take responsibility for this one, I figured by now most people knew the game and song.

Nope. I've been too busy in real life to pay attention to that kind of stuff anymore.Lady Pyro wrote: ...I'll take responsibility for this one, I figured by now most people knew the game and song.

Yeah, my bad. I just think it's kind of funny because every time someone brings up "the cake is a lie" somebody else responds with a line from the song and then someone else quotes another line and on and on.....I thought it was almost like a thing by now.
So don't be offended. Nothing to do with you at all . And welcome to the forums!

Well to be fair, when I posted he did have quite a bit more about how rude it was. So it seemed (at the time) an equal amount of apologies and explanations were necessary.

All is good. I promise I'll google anything I think is an insult before assuming it is an insult!
And I'll never screw up anything like putting a 3 where there was supposed to be a 2... my math teachers would have shot me all at once!! JK... actually, all they'd really do is just put a big X below my comment.
