just saw this for the first time and I have to say it's made me laugh more than most threads I've read in recent years... just not in the way it intended to.

Now now, you can't be random just for the sake of being random, it has to move with the flow of the thread. I'll illustrate:
Knowing your ass -> Problems pertaining to the ass -> Professionally knowing other people's asses -> LOL ROSELLA SEX
See the problem? If you wanted to go that direction you could have eased the thread into it with the introduction of anal intercourse I spose, but I probably would have kept up the pace by mentioning other strangely specific medical professions people get into and/or the fetishes that would accompany them.
Or, branching off from Gronagor's comment on the presentations at conferences, started in with "Yeah, and what do you talk your co-workers with after hours? Oh man, so I was prodding this guy's colon with a long tube today and you'll never guess what we found!"

See? Natural progression. Going against the grain only halts the conversations, or gets some stuck up forum go-er explaining the art of getting off topic while staying in the conversation. :P

In other news, did you know that ass is another word for donkey? I was thinking this guy might know this game like he knows his own donkey. And everyone should really get to know their own donkey. Knowing your beast of burden is very important in these trying times.
