Just wondering if there are still other Easter Eggs yet to be discovered in the remake? I know you guys mentioned being able to do something with the QG2 box other than put it in your room. Are there other secrets that haven't been mentioned in this forum as well? If so, can we get a couple hints. Pleeeease. The game has been out a while now and I've played through it with all the characters once and will play again soon. Just seeing if there's anything else I can do in the game. Thanks for the response.

Also, has anyone played Dragonsphere. I just started playing it and was wondering what other Quest for Glory fans thought of it. Thanks.

There is a certain opponent upon whom you can take out your aggression after being him, which results in a funny response.

There's also a randomly activated graphical easter egg somewhere, but I'm not expecting people to find that one anytime soon.

Hmm. After defeating the alleyway brigand 4 times, I met him a fifth time in Shmali Tarik (he was using his hybrid abilities again), and when I looked at him after beating him, the game said "you've mopped the floor with Sweeping Sir James". Did anyone find this before?

That must be a bug. He isn't even supposed to appear there. It was briefly mentioned during alpha testing, but we couldn't replicate it.

Unfortunately, I didn't save the game right before beating him, but I do have a save game that I made in the Fountain Plaza, a few minutes before I stumbled upon that bug. I'll see if I can replicate it. ;)

EDIT : Well, I actually managed to do it! Here's the save file. Made in Shmali Tarik with a Magic User, shortly after defeating the Earth Elemental.

Can SSJ show up at random alleys during the night if you don't complete the quest? I think I had him show up once out of the blue and not at one of the four listed locations. Never had him show up a fifth time after completing the quest, though.

Also in regards to other unnoticed Easter Eggs, there's a reference which film buffs who have a good knowledge of Hollywood history/archived materials may pick up on. Nobody has noticed it yet, though, despite the same gag being used in literally hundreds of well-known films over the years.

Heh, as soon as I read this I realized what you were talking about. It's Khaveen's Wilhelm scream in the Thief ending, isn't it?

The question is: did you notice it before I mentioned it above (and simply forgot to say anything about it previously)? Or did you go looking for it (and locate it) only after I mentioned the above info? :D

And for anyone who's still wondering what the hell we're talking about, see here:

I knew it when I heard it :)
It slotted in nicely at that moment.

That must be what happens when you throw things at the defeated Pizza Elemental. :lol

Looks like we only have one major Easter Egg left.

Okay, so who's the guy who goes over the waterfall in the Forbidden City? I haven't been able to duplicate it yet, but when I do, I'll see if I can get a screenshot. I've looked through the forum, but I can't find any reference to it.

I have screenshots of the text that goes with that easter egg, but my speed was up too high to get a shot of the guy in the waterfall. I'll have to try again later.

I haven't played Dragonsphere, but I've played the other two Microprose adventures and they all rock, and a friend told me ages ago that Dragonsphere is even better and that I had to play it as soon as possible. :lol

The people at Microprose were the best game designers ever, and also the worst programmers. I miss them. :(

Got a shot of the text.

Didn't have the presence of mind to snapshot the screen when the guy went over.

Who IS he?

Jafar already posted screenshots of the text. We need to see the guy!

So, this might sound a little odd, but: Once I've collected the blue frog, beaten the game and unlocked the debug mode, can I start a new character and do it again? Will it be a different color this time? :D

*sigh*

This one's a little weird. I was putzing about in the Inn one evening Omar was performing, and I did... something. What ended up happening was my character got out of his seat, knocking on solid air, and then it looked like he was slashing at something that wasn't there, and then it was over. Has anyone else seen this? The most annoying part is that I can't seem to do it again, because I can't remember what the "something" was. It was cool, though...

That's a bug already reported, and what you need to do to get it again is to be seated at the moment Omar arrives. It's very cool looking and on the previous version of the game you could find it too if you were on some shops at midnight.

The best one, though, was being able to fight on Roget. :lol

But to be honest, I have no clue about who he is.

Anyone?
