The basket

I can't find any use for it?
Sure, I can fill it with sand. Doesn't work against the ol' windbag, though.
Tried using water on it, to make the sand into mud. Nope.
Can't put it in my room.
Nothing?

It does indeed not have any uses. It's just a red herring object.

I got a bunch of these items and know what room to use them in but I just don't know where to click them in the room. I hold the enter key down and drag the items over every pixel but I never get a response.
