Damn. Blizzard just announced a new adventure game (in addition to Blackthorne 2) they're working on! It looks great!

Wow, what a clear spoof of Sierra adventure games. Funny and well-done ad! Looks like someone there used to play the Sierra classics. I wonder how many people will fall for it or will even understand the references. I actually would like to see a mobile game like this!!

One of the other "screenshots" is an even more blatantly obvious reference to Sierra games - specifically to King's Quest V. :lol I found it interesting that the quality of the first shot's background is quite different from the second (i.e.: see the detail in the ground). I wonder if more than one person at Blizzard worked on this.

Edit: I also have an urge to use a program to count the colors...

Edit 2: Awwww. 88 and 19 colors respectively. The second one's close.

Yeah I guess blizzard went all out this year for April fools, I got a tidal wave of emails from lamenting friends who wished these things were real.
My favorite was Blackthorne 2: Thorne Harder
How could you not want to play a game that boasts:
* Uncannily lifelike AI
* 100% photorealistic graphics
* Epic hard rock soundtrack
* Magical, revolutionary gameplay that builds on Kyle's signature no-look shotgun blast. Now he never looks where he's shooting!
* Twitter and Facebook integration to automatically post updates for every single enemy you kill. Your friends will thank you.

Look at those photo-realistic graphics! All games should strive to this! :lol

I loved that one. Reminded me so strongly of the game. But imagine facing an enemy, and having to turn around to shoot him. :rollin
