I've never played Castle Wolfenstein, Budokan or Ghostbusters but the rest seems right on. Pleased to see some adventure games on there.
What did they miss? Alone in the Dark was pretty strong for its day, in my opinion, and I think some of us would argue for Space Quest. Dragon's Lair was pretty good too. I think the biggest omission was Metroid though. It practically introduced its own genre.
Thoughts?

I have no love for sim city, but the rest of the list seemed pretty good!

I remember Budokan. It was one of the most realistic fighting games out there, not just in terms of graphics, but also in terms of how things worked. (that is, not only did the fighters not break the laws of physics, but also in the way that you became a less effective fighter as you tired yourself out more) Which also made it a lot more frustrating.

Leisure Suit Larry 3. Great game with great Roland MT-32 music and sound effects.
