Island Stone Puzzle

Anyone know the sequence to the stone puzzle on the island? How do you get your stuff back? Please let me know?

Did you check the map in your inventory again? It gives you a new clue

Eventually you'll get your stuff back, but right now it wouldn't be of use to you anyhow.

Following the color clues of the map, I got to the screencapped stone, but the last part I can't get past. Everywhere on the ground I touch either leads Alex to stand on the path like before the stones or I get this narrative, "You'd prefer not to touch too much around here"

Try another path, there is one(hint: you should go more to the right in the start). Had the same problem, but figured it out eventually.

I've tried two other paths that lead me to the bottom right corner and all surrounding stones make me sink. Am I overthinking this puzzle or am I missing something?

just watch and understand the pattern - you may have do it more than once to get through the swamp.
