Kings Quest Memories

#1 Post by daventry » Sat Mar 05, 2011 7:02 pm

Theres Another Game that i Love besides Kings Quest and that is Tomb Raider

Now theres a Site where we use Tons of Models to Pose and Make Incredible Screens.

People there made me a King Graham Model by using one of the Characters from the Tomb Raider Game.

Theres a Program Called XNALara and you can get Characters/Objects/Scenes from Many Games and Pose them in any way you like.

Here is what he looks like :p
Image
=========================================================
Graham takes the Bucket of Water and throw it at the Fire Breathing Dragon.

The Beast is so Ashamed, that he Puffs up Smoke and moves the Boulder away and crawls through the hole to the outside.

Graham takes the Magic Mirror and walks out the way the Dragon went.

Image

Graham watches as the Goat is ready to charge the Troll gaurding the Bridge.

Image

Sorry, but those People dident have a Posable Owl

Graham should becareful as to not fall off the side of the Mountain, luckally the Cloak will keep him Warm through the Cold

Image

As Graham reaches the Crystal Cave, a Yeti emerges, so Graham takes out the Custard Pie and throws it at the Beast.

Image

Graham quickly play the Harp for the Ice Queen before the Wolfs can tear him apart

Image

After Gaham push the boulder aside, he finds a hole with a Dagger inside.

Image

Graham is now in the Clouds, just when his Invisibility Ring is wearing out, he sneaks up to the Sleeping Giant that was looking for him earlier, so now Graham is ready to take the Magic Chest that forever fills with Gold

Image

With the Dark Forest behind him, Graham finds a Well and cut the rope with the Dagger to get the Bucket

That's actually pretty neat. Even with "borrowed" assets, someone spent a bit of time making those. It gives you a good sense of what the game would be like in 3D.

That last screenshot looks much better than the first one. The castle needs some shadows to look more realistic.

Yeah, I think all of these scenes use flat lighting without shadows but they're still pretty inspiring and fun to look at.

Sir Graham gives the Magic Bowl with the word Fill in it to the Woodcutter and his Sick Wife, so in return, the Poor Man gives Graham his Fiddle as a token of good will.

The Violin Music still echoes through Underground Leprechaun Kingdom.
As the Leprechauns dance and disappear through a puff of smoke, the King of the Leprechauns dance away while Sir Graham takes the Magic Shield and also the Scepter next to the Throne.

That first shot with Graham on the branch looks pretty good. I think only the finger positioning could use a bit of work (as he reaches for the egg). Funny look on the stunned Graham.

Hey, was wondering: did you ever have any interest in playing with any Quest for Glory scenes? That would be fun to see too but it may be too much work.
