King's Quest II SCI in your browser
The SCI Programming Community website has added a new feature: the ability to play in-progress SCI games right in your browser using jDOSBox. I've added the current build of King's Quest II SCI for all to play. Try it out! It's completable up until the top of the quartz tower where the lion resides. Many things are still missing or buggy but you can get an idea for how it's coming along.
Play King's Quest II SCI in your browser!

Sweet! I managed to be eaten by a wolf.
I couldn't get the basket from the mailbox, though, must be one of those parts that are still missing. I love how it's shaping up!

Actually, you can. Currently I'm having problems with the SCI parser understanding the phrase "get basket of goodies". It does, however, recognize "get goodies basket". It should be smart enough to understand that sentence with the additional preposition means the same thing but it doesn't. It's maddening.

I am trying to play this game but get the following error:

You will have to wait for the webmaster to get around to fixing it. He is aware, but also busy.

Re: King's Quest II SCI in your browser
It's working now. However, I can't figure out where my saved games are going. It says E:\BLACK, but I don't have an E drive on my machine.
Re: King's Quest II SCI in your browser
It is just using a Java port of DOSBox. "E:" is the emulated mounted hard drive. The save games are probably moot, anyway, as the game is is far from complete. It is only a demo. You will have to wait for the game to be finished.
