I just did!

!!! SPOILER !!!

While walking out from the kitchen to the for the first time, Santa Claus falls down the fireplace and out onto the kitchen floor.

Is this Easter Egg set to occur a few days before or after Dec 25? And is this the only one to which you are referring?

Yup, that event is tied to the system clock and will only trigger during the 24th, 25th or 26th of december.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this yet but...
I'm really sorry to say I'm just getting around to playing this (I was a bit reluctant about it since I just could NOT figure out the timing system when I first played the original) but after taking the talent potion and the narrator said "You could almost say you feel Musically Inspired." (paraphrasing a bit) I almost lost it.
Well played guys!

:D

Here's hoping you found the timing system in the remake much easier. We tried to make it as simple as possible with the colour coding.

Yes!! It is a HUGE improvement! I'm finally able to really enjoy the game and once I figured out certain patterns and solutions have been having a lot of fun with it! It's beautiful, like everything you guys have put out, and I'm currently trying to convince some of my friends to give it a shot.
Excellent job, I'm sorry I waited so long :)

I just happened to be playing the game today, at just before 10:00PM, on Christmas eve and was surprised to see that one.

Another one I found was when Manannan caught me in his study and gave me the exercise punishment, even though I was dusting it at the time. I was then amused to hear a midi version of Y.M.C.A. playing in the background during Alex's workout.

Great! I thought nobody would find that one. Good to know there's still people playing this game on Christmas! :D

Here is an Easter Egg that I noticed when picking this back up on Christmas Eve to show my brother. Santa fell down the chimney on Christmas Eve when I left the room that has the fireplace in the Wizard's Castle. I'm not sure if there are more Easter Eggs like this one and I couldn't get it to do it again but it actually scared me a little to see a man in red fall onto the screed like Alexander does when he falls down the stairs in the lab.
