I've never heard of these before but I found this interesting site. Let me know what you think!

8. Rosemead, CA: Eating ice cream in public with a fork is prohibited.

Nobody does this, of course. But that's not the point. The point is that THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO EAT ICE CREAM WITH A FORK IF THEY WANT TO.
Hey, I do that all the time. Sometimes, when going grocery shopping before work, I will make an impulse purchase of a single-serving container of ice cream. Since I wasn't planning on making the purchase, I didn't bring a spoon with me, but I did bring a fork with me to eat my lunch, so I'll use the fork to eat the ice cream. In fact, some single-serving containers of ice cream come with a plastic utensil that is part spoon and part fork. That would make it illegal to use them.

Good thing I don't live or work in Rosemead!

You may want to invest in sporks. :lol I live about 30 miles from Rosemead and 60 miles from Riverside. Who knows how many laws I've broken around here. ;)

I didn't know that that was what they were called. I thought spork was the name of the meat served in the game Leisure Suite Larry 6: Love for Sail.

At work I always keep a folding camp spoon with a spoon on one end and a fork on the other, in case I forget my utensils.
