Well if you have the note and Swiss cheese just wait for the witch is near the pot and hide yourself in the same room you found the note.
When she is is near the pot, walk behind her and push her into the hot oily pot using the hand icon on her. You just have to be careful so she doesn´t see you. If you wait too long ,it is too late then.

I hope this help -Fribbi

Ps: Is this your first king quest game ?

The thing I always use to do is get the fairy godmom to bless me, then do into the house and grab everything. The witch can't appear if she's near. Then again, this is on the OLD version, where the game boot up when the computer started.

Besides, isn't he a Graham cracker?
Carrots are Nature's toothbrush; celery, its floss. The Shin Sen Gumi motto: Sin, Swift, Slay.

Indeed it is. Especially where Sierra is involved. If we met in real life, then it's a REALLY small world.
Carrots are Nature's toothbrush; celery, its floss. The Shin Sen Gumi motto: Sin, Swift, Slay.

Thanks Frebbi, I'll try it. I truly appreciate it. No it's not my first King's Quest. I played all of the Sierra's KQ games, and I really enjoyed them. I'm so happy to get another one....I'll let you know how I fared. Thanks again....
Jackie

Wait a minute! If you've played all the KQ's, then why haven't you played KQ I? Or have you, and you're just playing the VGA now, which is different from your KQI?
Carrots are Nature's toothbrush; celery, its floss. The Shin Sen Gumi motto: Sin, Swift, Slay.

If you knock or eat the house and she answers, just leave the gingerbread house screen and come back. It's random if she's there or not, and you have to go in when she's not...

It's doesn't seem random!!! I've gone out and back about 15 times, she's always there. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /frown.gif ALT=":(">
I thought that it wouldn't be a good idea to go while she IS there... but I got so fed up that I went in anyway - and died. Yay. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /frown.gif ALT=":(">

Is anyone else experiencing major slowdown near the waterfall screen?
