I think...

The chance of KQ6 ever being remade is nil. Not only is the game already VGA (which is enough to disqualify it) but there are also no significant bugs that I can remember. The graphics are superb and the plot is good. I don't think there's much there for Tierra to improve, except perhaps a few dead ends.

If you're looking for KQVI, I'd check half.com.

Why does is this thread always near the top when it's not updated? I always see that it's near the top meaning someone has posted on it, and I see the same messages as before. Maybe someone edited it?

maybe hot topics have higher priority, and are moved automatically up . . .

This topic's a poll and I believe polls are also moved up if somebody votes in it. Especially the KQ3-option has been skyrocketing ever since Romancing the Stones has been released.

And I hope it keeps skyrocketing. Man, I'm really impressed with these remakes, and I was never into adventure games that much. I never played any king's quest original before, except trying to install KQ7 because I bought it when it was published cheaply in a gaming magazine, but I didn't like it so I never had any interest in the series until now.

Good thing I heard about Tierra. And I hope they remake KQ3 first, because now I have a subtle interest in it.

KQ3...................................................

I think that when KQ3 is remaked that you should add a little more(like a town and making the land bigger(i.e. more screens)) to whatever the name is of the land where alexander escaped from(It's been so long since I played it.).

KQ3...................................................

#263 Post by The Knight » Wed Jan 08, 2003 10:27 pm

I'm sure KQ3 is going to win hands down, mostly because of the great remake of KQ2 and KQ1, it's proven that Tierra can make a great remake of that too.
Now here's a question:
Could KQ3 get a voice pack(since It whould lack the great amount of dialouge)?

He's Parn, the hero of a classic anime called Record of Lodoss War, one of the first awesome anime I watched back in the mid 90's. Well, at least, I think it's him, it's so like him.

I found the thumbnail in the motherboards.org BBS. There's a lot of anime thumbnails to choose from, if you'd like one.

Will this poll actually affect the next game Tierra remakes after QFG2?

Whaddayatalkingabout? This poll gives an interesting view on what people would like in the future, but that doesn't create any obligations on our part. The final say still lies with us.

It's amazing ever since Tierra started KQ1 remake, a few Sierra fans decided to start their own,
heck I tried Leisure Suit Larry 3 Remake, but I didn't succeed due to my poor graphic design.
Now KQ2 VGA was released more fans decided to make their own, we all know SQ2 VGA, i've
played the demo myself and would like to congratulate the maker. I heard of a KQ4, PQ2 and a
SQ3 remake somewhere in these posts. Is this true?

When I first heard of Tierra I was always on their other site, so I took me a while to realise KQ2VGA actually was released.
This one.

http://www.qKnowlege.net/royalquest

Because the only way I could question Tierra about their products was by email, one of them was giving them ideas. This was one of them. I'm quite creative with future Sierra
stories... This was one of my favourite ideas

Leisure Suit Larry 4: Larry Laffer and the Space Babes

My output of this story was to do with Larry and Space, i know there was a LSL8: Lust in Space but I thought of this story before I knew that.

Long Story Short... Larry is enjoying every moment with Patti, (this story is indeed a LSL type story so, you know... if you are offended by the LSL games,
hopefully your not, don't read)

Anyway, Larry does what he likes to do with Patti when suddenly Patti turns into a space alien,
a big ferocius one with big horrible teeth, and tentacles too, bit like the Simpson aliens ,eh?
Larry runs for his life from Paddi, to only realise all the sexy babes on planet Earth have been
replaced by Man eating aliens, the real ones are on the mothership, including Patti, once you
sleep with one, your a goner. Larry must stop the aliens by going into space and getting aboard
the babe space ships, destroy the aliens, save Patti and the others, get rewarded :D if you know
what I mean, and return to earth.
Theres more to the story but it would take up alot of space on this Topic.

What do you think? ;)

Broomie

P.S I have thought of alot of other sierra stories, KQ one, SQ one and a PQ one as well. :hat

Personally, I don't think there SHOULD be a Leisure Suit Larry 4. If there was supposed to be a LSL4, Al Lowe would have created it. The whole joke was that he said there'd never be a LSL4. I don't think it'd be a good idea to start dismantling that old joke.

nah, it might have been a joke but I did hear LSL4 was being made and all the data got lost to it, so Al Lowe made up the whole LSL4: The Missing Floppies joke and went to LSL5, thats just an idea of what LSL4 could be.

Al Lowe has an explanation about LSL4 on his Web site: http://www.allowe.com/L-4.htm

I think it was just a joke, a good one. Now fans dont have to use silly titles like "LSL 3.5" or "LSL 4.5", they have a whole number for it, "LSL 4 - the floppies they didnt want you to know of!" ;)
