Hmmmm... Navynuke seems to be a good programmer, and since Iceman was about submarines... hehe. Just an idea. :)

Johnny Castaway?!?! I've completely forgot about that Screensaver! That would be great!!

hmmmm..... never played that game. i'll have to check it out. I'll probably end up hacking it apart with all the mistakes I find in it... (much the same way I do with submarine movies like Crimson Tide, Hunt for Red October, Widowmaker, etc...)

Don't forget The Yellow Submarine! Actually I've never seen the movie. But I love the song. I can sing it real good.

Yeah... people who just blatantly copy and distribute copyrighted software should be dragged out into the street and shot! :p

This is nothing. :p I found in a special site the full CD version (+ voices +music) of: Torin's passage, SQVI and SQIV. Now! This really sounds bad. It is one thing to put online 1 mega game with old graphics, but to put online a 400 (zipped) mega game is quite another :hat

Wolfgang:
Or...perhaps not...

You see, Gronagor, if I send you this link (or post it), then I will be sent to exile for a long - long time, and you wouldn't want this to happen, now would you? (BTW: I used IF -1-, since it's a REAL cond I'm getting better with this, aren't I, Wolfgang? :p Or maybe it should be If -2-, rats ... I'm not sure now.)

You got it, Vildern:

If you sent him the links, you would be exiled (unreal).
If you send him the links, you will be exiled (real).
If you had sent him the links, you would have been exiled (unreal).

Let's not find out just how real "real" can be, ya?! ;)

I do believe that this may be the longest thread in Tierra history. Or at least it seems that way. Maybe it's because it's the only one to really last a long time at the top.

It is. We haven't had a thread that remained on the first page of the forums for nearly a year. (bar two months)

If it's still on the first forum page on june the 24th, I'll probably lock it though.

Yehh, Navynuke! :lol
I see Wolfgang getting mad, after seeing that I posted the link, and then saying: "Rats! He did it! Now I shall show him! I shall delete this thread of his...hi hi hi hi..."

A short while afterwards...

AGD2 enters the forums to see the poll... "Huh, now I shall have a break and see how is my poll. My poll! Where, on earth, is it???? Curses! What does it say? 'Deleted by Wolfgang at 8:45 AM' WHAT??! Deleted? Wolfgang! Get in here, quickly!"

Wolfgang: "Yes, master? Is something troubling you, master?"

AGD2: "Explain this to me: '...deleted by Wolfgang...'.

Wolfgang: "Ooopss... so that's what I deleted.... It was an accident, master! Honest! I was mad at Vildern for posting his link, so I wanted to punish him by deleting the thread"

AGD2:" My poll, Wolfgang! You'd better Start running, and fast!"

Wolfgang: "But, master, you are in Australia!"

AGD2: "Not for long, there is a plane leaving to the US in 10 minutes, you bet I'd catch it!"

Wolfgang: "Oh, rats! " :rolleyes

It's a good thing you are ruler of a forum, and not of a kingdom... I don't think you'd be very popular if you went around killing people on their 1st b-days! :p

Hey, I'm not banning members who reached their first anniversary. But I think that after being active for a whole year, the point of the poll is made. It's still uncertain whether we'd actually DO something with the results, but that's another concern.

Yeah, it's pretty unlikely that the results of the poll will change, anyhow. I didn't think about the date :)
