Stuck at the swamp!!!!
I'm definitely stuck!
After doing all the work 'till the swamp, I'm stuck!
My message ('bible page') speaks like that: 'Silently With Newfound Skills/Wryly Souls Naughtily Steal.' I understant that it means South-West-North-South-West-South-North-South. But the combination South-North brings me back to the same screen, isn't it?
Help me please!

Just try. And keep in mind that the first screen counts as a direction. (you can only walk south there, thus the first word will always start with an S)

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashm ...

No Charon
I've got the same problem. I've never seen the fairy person, or the castle. My phrase is, "Spiders earnest with spindly eight spin webs with negligable wight".

S-E-W-S-E-S-W-W-N-W

I've gone these directs, but I just end up where I started. Please help.

Re: No Charon
One thing that seems to confuse some people attempting the swamp puzzle is that the very first swamp screen only has one exit (aside from going back out of the swamp), and that's south. You cannot exit north or east on that screen, only south and west (which, again, takes you back out of the swamp). Therefore, every poem begins with an "S" word and the very first swamp screen counts as the first direction, meaning that the manditory south is the first south indicated on the poem.

~Wolfgang

Perhaps you need some help telling your easts from your wests on a compass.

North, of course, is the top of your screen.
East is the right.
South is the bottom
West is the left.

An easy way to remember this is (starting at the 12 O'clock position and going clockwise) is Never Eat Shredded Wheat.

Hope that helps.

Re: Compass points
Also, what may be the problem is that if you get directions next to each other that are opposites (like you have E-W), you have to go east then west again. In other words, they don't nullify each other.
"Lose yourself in the music, the moment
You own it, you better never let it go
You only get one shot; do not miss your chance to blow
This opportunity comes once in a lifetime"

Pay attention to the perspective
Another thing to pay attention to, if you get stuck in the swamp, is if you leave one screen from one edge and enter the next screen from an edge that is not the opposite edge. I believe it happens once.

Repline Meadow Software

The Fluxmaster
