Hi, if i remember correctly there is an alternate way of defeating the wolf pack in the swamp but I can't figure it out for the life of me. Could someone please give me a hint? Thanks.

Actually, there is only one way to deal with the wolves in the swamp, so once you've found it you've gotten it right. Here's a clue: If you are being attacked by the wolves, all the things you need to defeat them you either already have in your inventory or can be found very close by... There is more than one way to deal with the wolves that attack you near the church, however, so is that what you're thinking of? ~Wolfgang

I remember Erpy saying in version 2.0 there was an alternate way to get past the wolves, not sure if it was the crossroads confrontation or the swamp confrontation. Either way I'd like to see it.

Yes, those are the wolves at the crossroads. The swamp wolves only have the one solution. There are actually three ways to deal with the wolves at the crossroads. One is to run, one is to fight, and the other involves a certain hard-to-find item that wasn't available in v1.0 (likely that's the solution you're talking about). I'll only hint and say that you should investigate someone/something/somewhere that has a reason to fear the Brotherhood... ~Wolfgang

Have you been the church yet? If you haven't, it will be open at night and you will be able to find a better lead as to where to go next. If you have been to the church and to the house, then you should be ready to find your way through the swamp. I've already been in the vampire's castle, now i got to find something. I go back to the church and find nothing but a bible that I read.
