Game Locked up...

screen west of hagatha's (on coast, with rocks in water, and a small "arch"as rocks connect in water) game just locked up. No error messages, music kept repeating same note, I alt-tabbed, then ctrl-atl-deleted to end the task. STarted over, and it was OK. Never saw it before, and I've been to screen many times<br>Win98SE, P3 750, GeForce3, Dx8.1 <p></p><i></i>

this sounds like the known issue you mention in the readme?<br><br>i was in the town for the second time (after picking up the paper near the bridge). i clicked the talk icon on the merchant, graham's "Hello, merchant" dialogue screen came up and the game froze. the music kept playing (i am using the midi music.) i had to alt-tab and then ctrl-alt-del to get out of the game -- the music kept playing until i shut the game down with "end task." went back with a saved game but didn't duplicate the problem.<br><br>i have a 64MB Nvidia GeForce2 MX with TV Out, P4, 1.7GHz processor, direct X 8.1, running WinXP. i was playing the game at 640x480 resolution with "No Digital Sound" and "Default MCI Music Device" selected.<br><br>hope this helps your troubleshooting.<br><br>-emily <p></p><i></i>
