Try running the setup program and increasing the amount of sprite cache under the "Advanced" section.

The Operating System is the main base of all your software! Examples would be Windows XP, Windows 98, Macintosh and so on...<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">

Hmm...when it freezes, does your sound hang and repeat in an endless loop? I have a feeling that your computer have outdated drivers for the video card or sound card. Also, what resoulution are you running the game in? 320x200 is the most reliable one. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">

Right-click on "My computer" and select properties. Click on the second tab (hardware) and you get a list of hardware including your video card and sound card. Visit the sites of the manufacturers of your video/soundcard and download the latest drivers for Win98. Also make sure to have the latest version of DirectX. And don't have other programs running while playing the game.

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashm ...

I believe there's a driver for your soundcard on <a href="http://www-3.ibm.com/pc/support/site.ws ... page, although you might want to conduct a more sophisticated search if it's not the right one.

Also, visit NVidia's homepage and download the latest Win98-drivers for your videocard. Install both on your computer.

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashs ...

All my other games work fine.

When i deleted the Music Pack from KQ2VGA, the game didn't freeze at all.

The Digital Music is gone witch is sad because it's quite cool. Now i hear normal music, but its a bit low. The speech pack stays and i can now play the game to the finish.

It appears there is a problem with the Digital Music file.

I'd suggest posting this as a bug report on the AGS technical forums at:

www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk

Chris isn't around right now, but I'm sure the issue will be added to the tracker for him to look at when he gets back.

Whoops. Confusion. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

Umm...Daventry or Chris...AGD2 meant that Chris Jones (the creator of the engine) isn't at the AGS-forums right now, but he should be back fairly soon. Since this might be a problem with the engine, it might be a good idea to post it on the AGS-forums (at www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk) so Chris Jones will notice it.

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashg ...
