I was due right on Valentine's Day, but I ended up being 9 days late. If anyone ever asks, I just tell 'em I was in there for a little longer so I could develop a bigger brain. That's why I'm so smart, I am. :D

I was two weeks early and my mother had an appendix operation shortly before my birth, but I doubt it had any effect on me.

You don't have anything vital missing, do you Erpy??? For example... south of the border. They say surgeons just pick the first think sticking out and cut it out. :rollin

Actually, that part of the male anatomy you described as "south of the border" isn't exactly 'vital'. Plenty of eunuchs existed in olden times, and women seem to do fine without it.

BTW, this response is not to add any credence to your insinuation concerning Erpy's manhood. ;)

This is a little crude, but it's something that was told to a guy I work with when his wife was about to give birth.

He said to put some chocolate between her legs. All kids love candy, so when they smell the chocolate, they'll just come right out!

With my first child, I took my wife on about a 2 mile walk. She went into labor that night. For the second, we walked down the beach. It was probably about a mile and a half. She went into labor that evening.

I agree walking for a long time seems like it does it, when i was about to be born there were no parking spaces close to the hospital so my mother had to walk a long distance to the hospital. BTW VAMP how do you do the flashing dots in your sigs? maybe after things have settled down you could please make a sig (aquamarine with something kings questy)

thx and good luck :)

My mother was two weeks overdue with my brother and decided to eat a two pound bar of chocolate one night, she went into labor a few hours later.

And if that one doesn't work, I've also heard that the father can help induce labor in the mother by....well....by doing what got the mother pregnant in the first place. :o

But even if neither suggestion works, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to try them. ;)

yeah, i'd say go for the nice long walk - it can't hurt!

i was one of those scheduled birth babies ... when my mom describes the day i was born, it's like she's talking about going in to have her gall bladder removed or something. "yeah, i drove to the hospital, your dad stayed home with your brother until the baby sitter arrived at 7:30, they prepped me at 8, 8:30, there you were." makes me feel like my birth was such a wonderous event. :P

so, yeah, go for a walk, make sure this kid knows that you're in charge, and that they need to get themselves out of there RIGHT THIS MINUTE.

however, if it's chilly there as it is here, i can't say i blame him/her for staying in there. good freakin' lord.

i've rambled. i apologize. i'm tired.

and here's to hoping your kid isn't another Stewey from Family Guy.

My mom told me that the night before I was born I kept her up all night punching the ever-loving crud out of her. She thought she was having contractions, but they were absolutely random. That morning she was having a nervous breakdown because she had no idea what was going on, so they called the hospital and got everybody down there and everything like that, and they did an ultrasound and found out that I was basically playing around, jumping up and down and basically being dorky and stupid (gee...). But, the doc said that she would go into labor that day, and sure enough a couple of hours later she did. About 13 hours later, I was born. Good times, indeed.

My sister was actually a funnier story. My grandfather and step-grandmother (my grandad had remarried after my grandmother died) were in the room with my mom (as was everyone else), and my step-grandmother was reading aloud this article in People magazine about a gorilla in the San Diego zoo giving birth to a 400lb (181kg) baby. My grandfather disputed the article, claiming that that was completely impossible. They argued over a 400lb (181kg) gorilla baby for about 5 minutes before my mom was like, "SHUT UP!!!" There was a dead silence for another few minutes and then I (4yrs old, mind you) asked for a Snikers bar. Everyone laughed really hard (which I didn't get at the time) and they took me out of the room. When I got back, I had a sister. It was quite the time, believe you me.

I use Animation shop and Paintshop pro. Its really easy you just have to animate each bit of writing or picture seperatly and then put them together.

But yeah sure I'll do you one, I'll try and get around to doing one today for you :)

Thanks for all the advice Ill try the walking thing even though I'm sure Ive walked miles each day. I'm full of energy one minute and then Im totally tired as anything the next. ;)
I've also heard that the father can help induce labor in the mother by....well....by doing what got the mother pregnant in the first place.
I'm definatly not up for that right now lol I'm aching all over to start with lol ;) BUT afterwards you never know :p

Going to see the midwife today so we'll see what she says.

My sister-in-law mowed her lawn. The baby came about 3 hours later.

So your baby are going to be as lazy like me. My mother told me I was late too when I was supposed to be born late in November and came finally out 10 december. It must be something she ate why I came out when I finally came out of her hehehe and that's is maybe the big reason why I was fat when I was born to earth hahahaha!

A Doctor here is the same thing it is anywhere, a midwife is like a nurse that specialises with pregnant woman and helps/checks them throughout the 9 months and in olden days actually delivered the baby. Nowadays they are there to guide you.

After we went to see the midwife she recommended we go to the Hospital to get an induction date, an hour later at the Hospital we got an induction date of Thursday 28th October. So basically if the baby is not here by then Deb will have to go into Hospital and have the baby induced!!!!!
