What's the chance of Iceman being remade?

oooh how bout a remake of the Johnny Castaway screen saver? How much work would it be?

Hmmmm... Navynuke seems to be a good programmer, and since Iceman was about submarines... hehe. Just an idea.

Johnny Castaway?!?! I've completely forgot about that Screensaver! That would be great!!

hmmmm..... never played that game. i'll have to check it out. I'll probably end up hacking it apart with all the mistakes I find in it... (much the same way I do with submarine movies like Crimson Tide, Hunt for Red October, Widowmaker, etc...)

I just searched the net for information about Codename: Iceman, and I found a bunch of Abandonware having it! Those evil people persons!!!!! Have they no shame?!?

Yeah... people who just blatantly copy and distribute copyrighted software should be dragged out into the street and shot!

This is nothing. I found in a special site the full CD version (+ voices +music) of: Torin's passage, SQVI and SQIV. Now! This really sounds bad. It is one thing to put online 1 mega game with old graphics, but to put online a 400 (zipped) mega game is quite another

Perhaps you could give us the link... to ... uhm... send them hate-mails!!!

I do believe that this may be the longest thread in Tierra history. Or at least it seems that way. Maybe it's because it's the only one to really last a long time at the top.

Hey, I'm not banning members who reached their first anniversary. But I think that after being active for a whole year, the point of the poll is made. It's still uncertain whether we'd actually DO something with the results, but that's another concern.

Yeah, it's pretty unlikely that the results of the poll will change, anyhow. I didn't think about the date
