Basically I think its down to the parents.

Being one myself (:D) I know I would only let my daughter play certain games/watch certain movies if I knew she was either old enough or mature enough to handle it.

I think people should just stop blaming movies and games etc as people that do stuff to copy things from games/movies are not right in the head to begin with.

Just like the "exclusiveness" of Prince of Persia and Beyond Good and Evil.

Don't forget Veutiful Joe too!

I think its better to have a game available on more than one console anyway.

My brother only bought a gamecube for Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 4. Now he wonders why he ever bothered?

Oh oops. Forgot to delete them.

But....Tales of Phantasia, wasn't that SNES exclusive? Also, Nintendo put a Gamecubebanner online for Tales of Symphonia, which seems odd.

Spikey, while still staying with my love for Nintendo, I've decided to cross the dark line and get a PS2 for Xmas, just for me anyway.

Mostly just for Smackdown Vs Raw which should be out next week. :D :D :D

I have it already, as I mentioned my brother already has it, so I have a go time to time.

I'm just going to get a normal silver PS2, since it would suit my mini entertainment system I've done in my room, with surround sound aswell. :D

The normal PS2 doesn't feel too sturdy, makes me wonder if that slim one can even take a mean look...

Speaking of old games, as this is pratically the gaming thread. Has anyone ever played Fragile Alligiance for PC. It's an old space colony type game, I hadn't played it in a long time, yet I fired it up and it is such a great game.

Anyone played it, what did you think?

Halo 2 was pretty fun.. Switch the difficulty to legendary, toss a controller to you buddy and a few hours will go before you notice..

And whats up with those AI drivers?

"Hey! Theres tanks there!"
*drives a warthog straight into one nearly killin' us both*

or

"Chief, I gould use you as a gunner!"
*drives straight over me after saying that*

The moral of this story? Never let a marine drive a car unless you have a deathwish..

EDIT: And hold your fire, I'm not an h4X-Box owner. Played it at my friends place.

Just got Smackdown Vs Raw!!

I just had a quick online match* and I have to be honest this game kinda sux... I thought "Here Comes the Pain" was alot better and maybe it was just cos I was playing online but the gameplay was a little slow, so I'll have to play it offline later.

Everything is better like graphics, load times etc but for some reason the game just seems different.

I'll probably like it after I've played more but thats my initial impression.

*The online match was against someone called "jay". I was The Undertaker and he was "The Legend Killer" Randy Orton, I didnt see much Legend killin going on as after a 5 minute bout which saw us evenly exchanging blows and grapplin outside the ring I landed the Tombstone Piledriver and put that fool to rest!

All I can say is BROOMIE!!!! Get your PS2 online boy, daddy's got some ass whoopin for ya!!!

Well, I had trouble keeping up with pace of this game.. But that might be because the last wrestling game I played was Raw 2 which had a REALLY slow gameplay..

Yea Smackdown has always been arcade-like but I think it was just online lag that was slowing things.

I'll have to see what the offline mode is like.

And Broomie, actions speak louder than words! I am online and waiting for you, 2 words...

"Bring It!"

:p ;)
