AGD, Do you think....

Do you guys think that had Roberta Williams had not remade KQ1 in SCI with all the new backgrounds and such, do you think the remake of KQ1VGA would look the way it did AGI? I'm just asking, becuase how would you guys work around this?

Making a 1:1 remake of an AGI game (especially one as primitive as KQ1) just doesn't work. They would have had to completely redesign/redo the backgrounds, the animations, the text, the music, etc. Even if they didn't want to actually add to the story, this work would still be necessary just to flesh out the game. While AGDI did manage all of this for KQ2, it's unlikely that they would have done as well for their very first game. So maybe if there wasn't the SCI remake, we wouldn't have KQ1VGA.
