Concerning the wallpapers

Well, well, well, so they're incorporating the note from KQ6...very nice touch.

Those wallpapers are indeed quite impressive.

Shadrack looks a tad vampirish IMO. Nonetheless, great stuff. KQIX seems it will be a tad darker than the other KQ games.

That's correct. :) We wanted to give KQIX a more darker and mature plot than previous KQ games.

Also, there's a reason why Shadrack looks the way he does, but you'll find out once you play the game. ;)

The screenshots and everything look great in that game, however, I'm quite concerned about two things: posture and porportion. It seems like the characters are all always in akward poses, and I've got to wonder about the animation if a screenshot is taken in a position like they are. Look at the Edgar/Graham screen they released a while back. One arm of Graham's looks tiny, and the other gigantic. You can go on and say this is the angle, etc., but it's a tiny criticism for an otherwise magnificent looking game. I'm just afraid that if a perfect still looks that akward, what about the animation in the entire game?

Hey Muz welcome back!!!!

It would be cool if the KQ9 team could release a teaser trailer closer to the release so we could see the game in action.

Thanks guys! :)

I'll answer both MuzlakOofmay and Angelus3K by saying we'll release video trailers closer to the game's release.  You'll be able to see some of the animation at that time.  ;)

In response to one arm being larger than the other, that's because of the camera perspective.  Graham's arms are both the same size (as you can see from the other screenshots), but because one arm is closer to the camera, it looks larger.  The width of the other arm is perpendicular to the camera, making it look smaller.  This kind of thing happens all the time when converting a 3D scene to a flat 2D form.

Yes, I understand this, and I hinted at that being able to be the reason, but a lot of the scenes look unnatural. On the Isle of the Mist (that's what it was called, right?), it looks like Graham's arm is bent completely around. There are several other things like this that I can point out that seem "off" about the characters' stances, but other than that, I think the game looks great.
