Ehhh... make it two.

None of that for me this year. I went to Sea World and saw some big-arse fireworks blow off. What better way to celebrate the 229th anniversary of the day we first gave the finger to the snobby overtaxing Brits than by blowing up a small part of the land our forefathers died for? :evil

Maybe, but the non-treasonous half of your country's population reluctantly gave up their lands and possessions and fled to Canada, where their descendants are still known as Loyalists. :lol :p

isnt it strange that most countries have an independance day that we celibrate on a specific day. however america has a specific day that they celebrate on their independance day. (we usually say "happy independance day" here not "happy 30th november") are there other countries that use the date rather than the term independance day??

Haha I just turned that movie on when I read that  :lol

Edit: Watching close to the end now and not very impressed. It has a few very good moments but it seems it is being dragged on a bit long. Oh wait Alec Baldwin just got shot it's all good now. I love the music and some scenes were amazing but again it seemed a bit dragged out... *watches credits and laughs when he sees music done by Harry Gregson Williams*

I spent the weekend of the 4th in New York, the view from Battery Park was good but the fireworks only lasted 20 minutes. I was disappointed.

You were in New York, and you didn't call?

That's it: you're no longer my Internet Boyfriend!
