Now that King's Quest II: Romancing The Stones has been released, the development team will concentrate on the Quest For Glory II remake. A scheduled release date will not be predicted or annouced, but as completion draws closer, information will be posted here.

10/06/04 Update: QFG2VGA will be released before mid-2005. A more specific estimate is not available because we must assume a lengthy beta testing process according to the complexity of this game. Within the next couple months, we'll go into alpha which will signal the end of development. At that point we'll have a fully playable game from beginning to end (with all 3 character classes) ready for internal testing, so technically we will finish the game this year, as predicted, but it won't be released until next year.  

No Game what a shame.

Actually, the game is playable from beginning to end with all three character classes. There are still quite a few bugs and other issues to work out, but the game is playable. Technically that guestimation is still accurate.

The game may be playable, but it's not released before mid-2005, clean and simple. You better change it, really.

Im confused, so its only going to be released next year? Oh well, at least KQ9 will release their first game this chritmas.

Ahh... you're right. I misread that. I believe Relight's away right now, so it's unlikely to get updated anytime soon. I guess that's what happens when you give even rough estimates. It is getting closer and closer with each day though.

So... (and I think I am in a majority asking this) Will the game be coming out before the end of summer? Will be kind of odd to venture into hot and desertic lands in full december.

Realistically I think this is a best case scenario given that beta hasn't started yet

I think the game should be released before the sky turns into a hellish red color while some serious flaming meteorites fall from the skies destroying the earth.

If that day finally comes I think it will not be necessary to release QFG2VGA.

Don't worry. Production will continue until the game is released or that day arrives. Which ever comes first.

It's actually very simple. After Quest for Glory II is completed in the year 2078, the AGD will use a time machine to bring it back to mid-2005. See? No inaccuracy at all.......

Which means, i guess Relight made it back, and it has been updated/corrected as best as possible.

It's ok they in SIS has already found my blogsite.

And about QFG2:
A month has passed since the last journal update, something tells me Relight will strike again with another update, don't panic people. Super natural forces tell me, so it must be true!

I suggest deleting the stuff from your guest book and then move on with life. If it gets reposted, delete it again. Apply bans if possible. Don't let them get any reaction whatsoever out of you. Every time you give some sort of public reaction, your flamers will put another nodge on their list for making you swallow their hook, line and sinker.
