If you install support for East Asian languages in Control Panel>International Settings, Windows will install the fonts MS Gothic and MS Mincho, used to view Japanese text.

You might also be able to find an online download of the fonts somewhere, installing those should work as well.

One important thing is still unclear: How many years old she is now? Always when are talked about someone's birthday, I think it would be essential to know how many years the person has been in this world... :)
