Resignation From Hero6
As of today, I will no longer be working for Hero6. It has been a pleasure interacting with you, the fans and visitors. It's a pity I can't say the same for some members of my team.

I'm sorry to hear that, Swift. I hope things (with you, not the game) are okay. Take care of yourself.
EDIT: rebuttal left apparently directed at nothing now removed.

Cross-posted from QfMG:
Whoa!
I joined the Sierra community in late 2002, and obviously QfMG didn't exist way back then.
So, a young man searching for QFG related sites stumbled across Hero6. (I've always loved QFG the most.)
Back then I was a hardcore Hero6 fan, I downloaded the MP3 files. I have some from 2000, even.. I must've visited before I was even a member of the Sierra online community. I still love the music from back then.
I played the old demo. I loved it.
It truly felt like it'd work.
Later on, (2002-2004 I think) I was on the Hero6 IRC chan, and spent a lot of time with someone I didn't know called Spliff, who.. ran the project?
Anyways. It's sad to hear that after all these years, this sort of thing is happening. I'm glad Brassfire took it over, but what the hell's going on? Can someone speak freely and explain for those of us who aren't in the clique? 'Creative differences' just doesn't quite cut it, for someone who's followed this for 6 years now.
Regards,
- Spike
(Well, I'm Spikey on every forum but this one Alistair here.)

Well, us on the team really shouldn't answer this sort of question - it starts rumors. This sort of inquiry is usually handled by Swift, in the PR Departm -
Oh, blast.
Long story short, then:
Don't jump to conclusions, please, about anybody taking over anything. It's all still up in the air. Thank you.

Aha. Never visited IA (since, it's relatively new, isn't it?), although obviously I've heard of their work.So you're the mysterious man I'm sometimes mixed up with. I'm also Spikey over at IA.
Hehe. I've been Spikey as far back as early 2002, way bck when I joined the Space Quest community (if you've played Space Quest 5, you'll know where my nick comes from).I remember a time on EzBoards when I used to have the nick Spikey III....

People nicked me "Spikey" when I was still a teenager, with lots of waxed spikes on my head....and because of the fact that I live in a city which is nicked "Spike-city" sometimes. I started using the nick as soon as I got an internet connection. Funny. Maybe we should make a thread about where everybody's nick comes from.

Swift's resignation
Swift, I'm so sorry to hear that. I hardly ever dropped by there, but I do know that you were really devoted.
