Hello.
I have tried ripping the resources from KQ5 using various software but, no success due to its weird version.
I have been able to view the sprites and backgrounds using a dos software (vd or vw?) Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had the means to rip KQ5 resources or if someone has already done it.

You could try using this http://www.bripro.com/scistudio/index.php. I have never actually used the program but I'm prety sure it does what your looking for. You'll need the VGA beta version since KQ5 is a VGA game. That's all the help I can offer.

Alternatively, you could use the DOS program you have to dump the view resources to your hard drive and use Brian's View Editor 256 to edit or to export each frame as a BMP.
