Police Collection help(new)

I need help with police Quest all other games in the collection work great however police quest 1 plays PC speaker like music how do i fix this any help is grateful
Note: I am talking about the XP cokkection which only includes the vga ver

Per default, AGI games do only play PC speaker music. There are some unofficial drivers or unofficial AGI interpretors that will let you hear the 3-channel sound instead. I recommend playing AGI games through
ScummVM.

I had the same problem, but it's easy fixed for those of us who can travel back in our memories to the days of DOS when these problems were more prevalent.
You'll need to open the directory where PQ1VGA is installed, and open in notepad the file RESOURCE.CFG.
Once thats open you'll see two lines near the top
soundDrv = ADL.DRV
audioDrv = AUDNONE.DRV
Note that the information after the = will probably be something else. Change them to what I've got there and you're all set to go, playing the game with the awesomeness of Adlib music.

PQ1VGA, right AmusicDude?
I think Asianmusic has the PQ1VGA and the sound is not working.
What platform Asian?
You have to explain better if you want a solution.
Remember Klytos, that was our platform at the time and AmusicDude may have a newer soundcard.
