AGDInteractive - Sierra Adventure Game Remakes Forum

Not sure if there are any old master of magic community  out there, couldn't find one, so i ask here: Has anyone here played the old game master of magic and gotten it to work on a vista(or something)? I use dosbox, but when trying to start the game it says:
File-> findcd.c, Line-> 56
Could not locate CD

Even though i have mounted the cd to d:\ and succesfully installed the game.

I got it to work by not installing the game, but simply moving the files. But it ends, saying:
"insufficent memory. You need at least 581K free. Try removing all TSR's."
How do i get dosbox to use more memory?

Ok, now i got the game tow ork by installing the latest patch. But the game is really slow, moving troops about and such, how do you get dosbox to work alot faster?

The sounds gets all choppy when on more/higher "cycles"..

First of all, there's an edit button.  There's no need to post four times, just edit your original post.

Second of all, you can press ctrl+F8 to set the frame rate higher, which will make the game run faster.

Open dosbox config in note pad and switch core= normal  to core=full or core= dynamic
