Nice project, gargin.
How did you rip the graphics from the original SCI-game? What tools you used etc?
If anybody else knows the answer, or have any other info that might be helpful, I would be happy if you would share your knowledge.
Sorry if this is a noob question ..

Thanks Adre99, for the normal sprites I use Brian Provinciano's SCI Studio. The program is capable of extracting Views/Pics/Fonts/Texts/Cursors/Scripts. Extracting graphics is pretty easy but can be rather time consuming. Personally I don't use the sound feature as I have never been able to get it to work very efficiently or well.
I actually use Dosbox to grab screenshots to make the backgrounds though because in Colonel's Bequest they made every item in rooms objects and I did not really want to do that because the Walkable area masks were a bit of a pain and sometimes having all those Baselines becomes tricky to work with.
Hope this info helps, feel free to ask me any other questions you might have.

Well as for the Jodo Kast thing, I think everyone realizes that I am trying hard and have produced some basic results. So far all I have received is positive feedback and that helps greatly on those long nights spent tweaking up a script or animation.
Unfortunately my time is much more restricted these days than it had been in the past due to moving in with the fiance and getting a new job so my speed has reduced to a crawl but things are still progressing and hopefully will continue to do so!
Thanks again for your support.

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to let you know that I have set up a forum for my personal projects such as the Colonel's Bequest remake. I would encourage those people interested to visit
http://projects.itsjm.com and register as I will probably start posting polls and other related information on that site. You are still welcome to ask me questions here as well as I check these forums on pretty much a daily basis but please try and keep them somewhere under this post so as not to clutter up AGDI's forum.
Not much else to report, still working on making the intro when I have time.
Thanks again,
Gargin

Do you know when the point and click of Colonel's Bequest will be done?
