It's July 7, 2008. When is quest for glory 2 coming out!? I just found out about this 15 minutes ago and already I freakin' out! Can't wait! Any good news?

It's quite close now. As I understand it, the beta phase is finishing up. After that it's release time (as soon as authorization from Vivendi comes). Some of us have been waiting for this for 5+ years .

I've heard gamma testing tends to be fairly brief but delta testing is quite time consuming.  I'm forecasting a release of 2013.

I don't think that would happen, seeing as how the world will end sometime during 2012... possibly 23.12.2012...

This reminds me of when I first discovered the remake being made... in August 2001! Amazing how time flies, eh?

Seriously, Maybe it could be out next month. I'm really hoping for a summer release.

When I started here I was nervous about entering highschool now the game is finally going to be released and I'm worried about entering university!

When I first came here I hadn't even met my wife. Now I'm married with 2 kids.

I only joined around a year or so ago but I've been checking the forums for about 3 or 4 years cant wait for the release!!!

when it's out i will lock my doors, disable the telephone, switch off the lights, put on my astronaut diaper and play to the end without stopping for a potty break !!!

I've been here for quite a while too... almost five years for me, though I've only been a member for something near a year.

As for the topic at hand... I'm going to bet that it will be released on Christmas. Seriously, it just makes sense logically. And I won't be heartbroken if it's before that.

with all the recent progress, i'm hoping we're down to weeks--not months

haha when i joined it was a few months after i got the original xbox. I remember i got a free year subscription to game informer and i read about the remakes of the king's quest games. I was a freshman in highschool and now i'm about to go to a university to study computer science. haha it's been awhile

Likewise, I have been lurking for quite some time now. I remember playing the QFG 1 remake when I was a little kid. The problem was that my English was not up to par being in Russia. So when I came over to the United States I recall seeing QFG IV on the shelves but I did not know it was QFG because I knew the game only by its executable, scidhuv. Not to mention that the Hero looked differently, missing a shiny red cape. Thus I did not buy it and by the time my English got to be pretty good the game was already off the shelves. I discovered the game again entirely by accident, much like I did space quest series. Sierra came out with just a jewel case SQ IV and I remembered the logo back from QFG 1 days. Looked into and found that Sierra had a QFG anthology. Thats how I pretty much around to discover QFG series twice. Sorry, if this was a bit OT.

Nah. It's great to know there are Russian fans who share our love for the series.

Time sure does fly.

If the game gets released in August, then the time I would have spent waiting is 7 years. I waited uncomplainingly and patiently, and I think it's gonna pay off very, very soon.

Jesus. Yeah I remember surfing this and being ecstatic about KQ1 VGA and then QFG2VGA announcement. Man that was before I deployed (USMC) to OEF1... Wow... To think its been that long... I was only in my first enlistment in the Marine Corps... Now I'm going on my third... Damn!
