Sorry to spoil the fun, guys, but I removed that link. Like honor, we'd like players to earn this one themselves. There are also certain technical issues that could result from a hacked savegame like that and we don't want to spend time chasing down any phantom bug reports as a result.

With blue frogs comes great responsibility... use them wisely!

Haven't figured out how to unlock the Blue Frog yet... But I did try to type in Suck Blue Frog a couple times in a conversation to humourous results

I only saw the frog once when I first went to the Oasis. Does it ever show up again?

I believe it does but it's random. Keep going back and forth between the oasis screen and a screen next to it. It should come back.

If anyone knows how to use the blue frog cheat, please either post it here or PM me. I'd prefer doing that to hex editing (but I've never claimed that my patience with repetitious actions was greater than my honor

Too funny! There are quite a few people of the Thief mindset on these forums, including me. Thanks for the offer, Phathom, but I'll have fun exploring that aspect of the game myself as well.

Though someone was kind enough to share the blue frog walkthrough with me so I'll try that too.

I prefer CheatEngine as it also has a built in debugger which allows assembly injection. OllyDBG is nice too for hardwiring custom patches. Throw in some IDA Pro and you've got yourself a party!

I think I saw the frog but I'm not sure. Went to the oasis on the saurus. Got off, saurus went to drink, frog said "Croak!" and jumped into the water. So I guess you have to walk to the oasis?

I've been able to obtain the blue frog using the bellows, but no game was unlocked.
What am I missing here?
I suspect this might be a hoax!
Can the AGDIs please confirm/refute this and perhaps give us a clue?

Hey, the game's been out for nearly 2 weeks and already we're supposed to reveal every single detail so people can beat it with 100% features found and move on to the next game?

There's one in-game use for the frog that involves kindness and gives some honor points, but it unlocks nothing.

So is this really a hoax? no unlocked mode or "press f10 for game"?

p.s.
I think the "use" for the frog that you mentioned is the act of returning it into the water in the oasis?

It would be nice if the people with the information would just say how they did it. Every time I read these forums it seems like a bunch of 5 year olds that don't want to share anything. If you where around for the original QFG 2 then you have to be in your late 20's or mid 30's, so why doesn't anyone on here act their age?

I found the frog. Does it do anything?

If it does something, other than honor points, how do you use it.

Because some fans want to try and find things out for themselves and don't want accidentally to stumble across or be tempted to read a printed out solution because someone else impatient wanted it. It's bad enough I got spoiled by another major Easter Egg already (damn my eyes). Why don't you find some way to share the information in private?

Also, calling people 5 year olds is really mature too?

Now be fair, imageblur does have something of a point; it's one thing to avoid casually spoiling other people, it's quite another to taunt the forum with veiled allusions to an easter egg you found and then point-blank refuse to help others who want advice on finding it.
