King's Quest for Glory???
I've always enjoyed these two game franchises from Sierra. But, one thing has been in my fantasy gaming bowl for quite some time.
What if they were to make a game, basically merging these 2 legacies by pairing up a Dream Team of maybe the Quest for Glory Hero with maybe someone like Prince Alexander (post-KQ5) for big, awesome adventure & storyline? I've always thought of Prince Alexander & The Hero as THE Dream Team.
What do you guys think?

It would make a pretty awesome crossover.

Indeed, it would.

I think it would be more interesting to let Connor play this part, as he should be involved in at least SOME point & click and / or RPG combination. All this action-adventure did him no good at all. Two characters with virtually no backstory but previous games, now there's a thought.
Re: King's Quest for Glory???
I dunno, personally I have always found crossovers to be a strange idea. Also, while it conceivably works for a show like CSI Miami and CSI New York it gets weird when you mix two items that have fantasy elements, and even weirder if you take two games that have totally different play styles and combine them.
One of the major problems with this type of an idea is you have two different potential fan bases Adventure Gamers and RPG Gamers. If you bring the Hero in to the mix you couldn't keep the game straight adventure so you would have to mix in the QFG battle type system which would alienate the people who wanted just a straight adventure game. If you decide to not make the game like QFG than you pretty much defeat the purpose of the hero being involved.

Personally, my problem with it is that Daventry's world and Gloriana are both defined separate realities. Crossing realities is tricky to do well.

Titania all the way. She's got Shakespeare behind her, plus she's green, just like the form from Gargoyles.Spikey wrote:Titania vs Tatiana. Imagine.

I'm more of a Tatiana fan I guess. She's just so evil.
