Best webhost? any advice?
I currently use http://order.1and1.com/xml/order/Home;j ... _lf=Static
to host my website www.crystal-utada.net
However since my website features downlds and video streams i need somthing faster (loading and buffering) yet cost effective (collage student living at home) can anyone help

You can try google-pages, too. It's usually restricted to predefined templates, but you can upload your own html files to skip that limitation.

the only one I know of is Godaddy.com if you watch an episode of Diggnation you can get a coupon for a discount.

I use 3essentials.com for my hosting. 400GB xfer and 6GB of storage for 6/mo (less if you pay in advance). Servers are available as Windows or Linux, depending on what you're comfortable with, and both support PHP and ASP.
