There was a song during the credit sequence of the Care Bears Movie II called Forever Young that absolutely captivated me as a child. My kids were watching the first Care Bears movie on DVD and it reminded me of this song so I looked it up and decided to rerecord myself. So I did. Took me two days. It also ended up being two minutes longer than the 6 minute original. But it was fun and a learning experience figuring out the exact chord sequences and notes as well as mixing the whole thing. It's a labour of love and dedicated to my nostalgia and the kid in me. I hope someone else enjoys it as well.

Heh. Erpy bought my kids Care Bears II while he was here in 2005. We've got the DVD around here someplace.

I believe it was a video tape actually, but that event did cross my mind too when I read this thread.

I first thought it was gonna be "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart, or something.

It's a pretty common name for a song. Alphaville, Bob Dylan and some j-pop groups also composed songs with that title.
