Okay...just a tiny hint is enough to get me going again.

I think the next thing I need to do is produce the emerald. I've got the mixture cooking, and have stirred it occasionally to keep it from sticking.

However, I'm unable to utter the magic words. Apparently "the time is not right". I tried lighting my candle, but it won't work. I also tried tearing down the curtains, but brandishing my sword isn't a very valiant thing to do right now.

Did you add the crystal to the formula? Or did you merely use the blue gem, yellow flower and feather?

Oh...that's probably it. I was under the impression the "clear crystal" was the beaker. Thanks!
