Haha...no worries, man. Take your time. I'm just kidding anyway. Honestly, I probably can't play it tonight anyway...I've got a bunch of work I should be doing.

By that do you mean that we have to wait less, or that we'll wait the same amount but the game will try to distract us from noticing?Erpy wrote:If it makes you feel better, you'll find that kind of thing a lot easier to deal with in our remake.

Yup I do recognize the old classic Terra/AGD forums back when KQ1 VGA was first released man I feel so old.navynuke04 wrote:As an early gift to our forum members, we've activated the retro "Classic AGDI" forum theme. For those of you who have been around a long time, you'll recognize the color scheme.
If for some reason, you don't like these colors, you can always change back. Just go into your User Control Panel and Click on Board Preferences. Change your Style from AGDI Classic back to subsilver2.
Heck what ever remaining time there is until the remake is released its very nerve racking to say the least.

Re: KQ3 Redux Release Date announced
There should definitely be a countdown clock... And a background music, similar to that nerve-breaking tune that was coming out of the PC Speakers , while you were preparing the spells in the original King's Quest 3!!!
That music would haunt my most scary dreams as a child
Its 6.30 am here in Greece, and I have to go to work in half an hour while some lucky ppl will be trying to transform Manannan into a cat.
CURSES!

Yeah, that one. Most of the ditties you heard in the AGI are in the remake in some form or another.

I think that information is safe to share. The installation file is about 231MB. Erpy or AGD2 please edit my post if you don't want this info shared for some reason.

Time to give everyone a heart attack by appearing out of nowhere. :P
I remember back to when NavyNuke posted his thread about tinkering around with King's Quest III and little demos that were released (still have them, I think), and how cool it was to see a team assemble up...then disappear slowly until it was seemingly one of many attempts to start up an AGS game remake that went the way of Jodo Kast's latest Laura Bow remake thread. (there's a throwback reference ). But, here we are, on the cusp of the work started so long ago being released. It's amazing to see that the idea borne out of that thread has come so far and will finally see release. Congrats to the whole team, especially for all the hard work that was put into it (quick shout out for QFGII as well while I'm at it). Thank you for all the time and effort that you've put into these projects, especially for projects that were pure labors of love. It's good to know that while there may not be a new quest coming out, our quests will be able to continue on in new ways thanks to all your time and effort.
(For old time's sake...signing out like I have many a post)
