Hints as to where to find stone?

Hints as to where to find stone?

I've taken care of Mannanan and every other spell. But I can't find a stone of unusual color? Any hints would be appreciated.

Go to any desert screen and keep going north until you reach a distinctive place.

From that point forward, you're on your own!
