Game crashes during saving process

I am playing KQIIVGA in 320x200. I can play just fine but now that I've saved several times the game crashes when I click on save game. The error I receive is as follows:<br><br>"An error has occured. Please contact the game author for support, as this problem is caused by the game rather than the interpreter.<br>(ACI version 2.51.450)<br><br>(Global script line 605)<br>Error: String argument was null: make sure you pass a string, not an int, as a buffer."<br><br>Help? <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :D --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br><br>Shawn<br><br>BTW - Love these games! Umm...glad to see you're enjoying the games. What version of Kings Quest II VGA are you running? I'm guessing that you downloaded the game quite a while ago? You have version 1 there, which did have a bug with saving the game. If you read the ReadME file, it should state what version you're running. Where did you download it from? If it wasn't the Tierra website, it's possible that another website is hosting an old version, and it would be useful if we could inform them to get the updated version onto their servers.<br> <p></p><i></i>
