Cannot play video in KQ2

Whenever I start the game, I get the message "Video Playing Error: Initialization failure in InitRenderToSurface", and the game continues on to the intro screen, allowing me to start the game, but without what is apparently a little video sequence.<br><br>I have read about a 3D cutscene, is this what i'm missing?<br><br>I do not otherwise experience trouble playing MPG files in windows media player.<br><br>Please, does anyone know how to solve this? <p></p><i></i>

Make sure you've got the latest version of DirectX installed. KQ2 uses DirectX Media to play its videos, which wasn't included in older versions of DirectX.<br> <p></p><i></i>

Hey, it worked! I no longer get the error message, and instead the intro includes a very nice 3D view of Kolyma. Thanks a lot (and why didn´t I think of looking for newer drivers before asking?). <p></p><i></i>
