In his present condition, I wouldn't want him in the movie. :p

Aw, I didn't even think about that... I think it would be better to just leave Barf out than to try to replace John Candy... but that's just me.

Aside from that thought of sadness, that's very very awesome news, assuming it's true and not just some random crap from a website that I've never heard of... Spaceballs is one of my all-time favorites!!

May the Schwartz be with you!! :rollin

Hopefully Rick Moranis is in it, Spaceballs is nothing without him.

Didn't they name Spaceballs 2 in the First one? I think yogurt said it. "We'll have to see in Spaceballs 2: the quest for more money." They also had something about ice skating. I wonder if Bill Pullman would be in it? Same thing for Joan Rivers. Dot Matrix was just as annoying as C-3PO.

Haha, the proper name would be Spaceballs 3: The search for Spaceballs 2

Well, well, it's me resurrecting again a thread five years old. I hope nobody opened another thread about the subject. :lol

It seems the project got cancelled, and they made instead a cartoon series of Spaceballs!! :eek

Here is a youtube trailer: http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=kkrJqlo_k28

Also, here is a very raunchy trailer not for all ages: http://www.moviehole.net/200815517-new- ... ted-series :o

Now this is a cartoon I'll have to watch. :p

Mmmm... it seems Mel Brooks has stated that after the cartoon he will make Spaceballs 2 afterall.

That hasn't aired yet?
I worked on a few scenes of that back when I first started at this horrible company I'm at right now. The animation is terrible!
From what I've seen it looks like the first few episodes are just pretty much the movie, but I've only seen half finished clips. I'll have to watch the finished trailer later (my nets acting up right now, I can't stream anything).

I was a tad vulgar all those 5 years ago. I don't think I've ever used the phrase, 'shitting myself with excitement' in real life. Maybe I just thought it sounded cool.

Infact, there a few posts I've made years ago which made me cringe. Kinda makes me want to invent a time machine so I can go back in time and bitch slap myself into talking some sense.

It'd be great if you just got out of a time machine, slapped your younger self and left again, offering no explanation.
Of course altering the time line may cause miniature horses in ski masks to take to the streets and systematically take down the vast human empire. Replacing it with a kingdom of their own under the watchful eye of their malevolent ruler who keeps order with a tiny, iron hoof.
But it'd probably be worth it in the end.

You could kill a mosquito in the past and have dinosaurs rampaging earth and raining doughnuts! I know I would be grateful.

Or you could just consider your past non-canon, and update your old post to your flashy, new official past.

You can't edit your own posts after a certain amount of time, though.

I can edit mine as well. I edit my posts very rarely though. Remember when that guy left the forum (Phoenix something) and he edited everyone of his posts (there were atleast 1000) to just be ellipses and so it really confused you if you read an older thread.

Wow. Someone's got a wicked amount of time on his hands to do that!
