Game making does take a lot of time and motivation; still, whatever you decide to do with this game, I'd like to play it when you're finished with it.

Thanks. I am just adding more objects. And adding some little easy and well known arcade games you can play inside the game. I have got so many ideas for that lately. So just wait like others people here until that game will be released. ;)

The game size now is about 31mb. I hope  that will be enough for you..if you know what I mean fluxmaster.

Demo game  of the Black Sky has now being released. I leave this on the internet in two or three weeks but after that I will upload the final version of the game.

I click start game the screen vibrates and nothing happends. Maybe you should of gotten some testers first.

You have to click on the exit button to start playing, there are some bugs in that game Fribbi, maybe I can beta-tast if you want.

Although a little difficult to manoveur, this is turning out to be a quite a promising game. Keep up the good work and good luck with it.

Btw, that wolf scared the hell out of me.

The 3-D effects in the game are really good.  I love the way you have the cut-away view of the house.  I also like the way the background scrolls when you move.  Although the perspective isn't exactly correct, with the way you have it done, at times it's easy to forget that the background is a static bitmap and to imagine that the game uses full 3-D rendering.  The 3-D effect is much better than the typical AGS game.

Switching to outdoors, the rain effect is really good, too.  And I absolutely love the way the moon moves with you when you walk, the way a moon should.  To make it really realistic, you should make the stars move along with the moon.

The plot seems a bit weak, but, hey, this is your first game.

BTW, why did you use the spinning coffee cup for the wait cursor?  Does that mean that we should go get a cup of coffee while we're waiting?  (I think I'll get one now.)

Fluxmaster I know in my last demo I used spinning earth but yes the idea with the coffee is just like what you said. Beside this is a AGS game and Coffeee cup are their own label.

Ok first of all thanks for the comment.

Now here is the walkthrough.

Press Yes button to start the game.

Right you are now in the living room look and touch everything.
You may also try to speak to Chelly. But she has nothing really interesting to say to you.

Now go outside and met that horrible and hungry wolf. Tallk to him if you want. Go back inside and get the meat from the refrigerator you may also take the matches if you want. But go now again outside where the hungry wolf awaits for you. He will give you a strange message from King Graham have no worry about this right now.  You should now be near the toilet room. Go now inside and use the toilet and after that you are in big shit Just watch on the funny ending and well that's it. The end. There is no way to get full compleated scorepoints for this game so just ignore it from now on. This demo game are just a little sneekpeak game, you know what I mean.

About that big boom ending this is not the real end of the full version game but this end was just putted there temporarily. Of course I will put something better ending and something wich you need to prevent you from that big explosion.

Here you go Bromios. I know there could be more error but I will fix it as soon as possible and upload it tomorrow.


*Fixed the beginnings. Press now on "Yes" button to start the game.

* Closed the training room.

* Changed the story plot.

* Added new objects

* Changed the Chelly outlook.

* Fixed some rooms and spelling error.

* New music's created by me and some music sample by Madonna can be heared when you go outside and into the toilet.

Played the demo, not bad. A little unusual, but I thought it was pretty good, Fribbi.
One thing I did notice though is that when you close the inventory, the look cursor changes to the "Exit" button, perhaps you should fix that.
Aynway, I look forward to the finished game!

Ok this will be my last demo. But I have fixed what was most needed to be fixed. And now I am going to move on and try to finish this game. It could take me two or three weeks. Or should I rather say the famous AGDI quote it will be ready when it is ready hehehehe. :lol

you should have instead of a "do you want to play this game" you should have something more like "welcome to blacksky" then have 3 options.. play...load...exit

Good idea. I have already changed the intro for this game but I shall add this text too in next time.

And remember to use cogs to play the game.

I will write a readme.txt to explain what those icons means in this game. But I think many of you have selected the hand to open the game but the hand is for picking some object up.

I will update some rooms too in next time.

(Update news)

As you all know this game is for free.

But that is because I have being looking for someone in Iceland to support me. Instead I will put some announcement for their own company.
It should be fair to me since I have nothing else to do and I have worked on this with every sweatdrops and awful toe stinks in every day when I have time to work on this game hehehe.

I mean AGDI have all other real job but me not. So I just hope that will be ok. I promise you that they will not look like some popup spams it is just to fill something up for this game. It will look so empty without it.

I even added Harry Potter joke for the book who just came out in same week I released that demo. And I will of course mention on some other games.

There will be a Sierra old classic characters included in this game as a guest star. Also some familiar backgrounds image from the Sierra game.

Did you know the one of the image of the wolf is from king quest 5 and the earth image is from Space Quest 1.

But I have so many idea how to reuse those images.

In the full version of the game I will include this homepage on the credit list but I really don't know where. Maybe on the special thanks list for supporting me with a valuable AGS codes and I will specially thank Erpy
for that. He helped me a lot when I was trying to work on Leisure suit Larry remake. The Black Sky should make you all happy because you can again play as Larry and Roger and many others in some side quest.

But I have managed to learn how to switch player characters. So just wait for the full version of the game.  I know many will look forward to see those old Sierra stars together in one game.

:cry Well I have a sad news to everybody who was looking forward to play the game.

The game crashed in my computer. I was trying to save the game when the computer suddenly froze. The computer did not respond when I tryed to press ctrl+alt+del. So I had to shut down the computer and after I restarted the computer and wanted to restart the AGS software every sprites I had created for this game was gone but all of the background was still there. I tryed to use the backupfile but it didn't work. So after all this seven months the game went destroyed in only one day.

It's like something above me are trying to tell me I should not make a computer game. When I tryed to to remake Leisure Suit Larry 3 into VGA my own computer overheated and died then and now when I try to make my own game the game damaged then because I overused the memory.

But the computer are brand new but why does this still happen to me? I just hate it when things like that happens to me.

I will in next time try to make a smaller game instead for trying to make a big game like that one with only one or three rooms to explore and deal with the puzzles. Or maybe I should just stop making another game. I just can't do it any longer.  I am so unlucky guy and the funny thing is the main character was supposed to be unlucky too.

I am already starting to hear some joker in some standup comedy show talking about a unlucky computer guy who tryed and tryed to make his own computergame but because he is so unlucky he just can't do it because he is so unlucky. And when he tryed to make a game about himself, the game damaged in his computer. Maybe it bring to me a bad luck when I try to make a game about unlucky guys like Leisure Suit Larry and about myself. Hahahahaha very funny.


So yes after all this I could only create a demo game of The black Sky  about a unlucky guy who lives in a big house and has a girlfriend and after he gave the weekendmeat to the hungry wolf he dies in the toilet in his own shit like Elvis Presley. What a joke to waste a big time on.


I created only four new extra rooms and I had not even created any new puzzles or fix the spelling error.

So in short words there will no The black sky game released so hurray to my only competitor AGDInteractive, you won me.  You are very lucky I don't work with you or your game will never be released. I just thought I could beat your next upcoming game but since I am so unlucky like this there will be no game created by me. I mean what else can I do now here? Sit and wait for the Quest for Glory 2 VGA.

I am a artist yeah but computer game programmer nooooo! Maybe I should just go back creating again joke comics. No mabye that is not a good a idea because that will only give SIS members a new image to edit it  with a porn jokes. Like they did in last time with one of my comic with Leisure Suit Larry.

After all this works on the backgrounds images I made a mistake like destroying my own game.


You may all laugh at me if want.  It's ok I deserve it after all this big time of waste on this game. I was so close to release this game but no. Everything was gone. Everything except the backgrounds.


So say goodbye to The Black Sky . The game should be called now instead "The big unlucky day".

I have always said the game was not about me That's a lie because it was about unlucky guy named Fribbi. So in other words it was about me. I am really that unlucky and maybe in one day I will end my own life like this in my own shit.

Well the demo will now be the full version of this crappy game.

To all moderators. You may delete this thread for me because there is no "The Black sky" coming out. I should feel lucky because in the full version I unlegally used music's created from others game character from others games and I could had being sued for doing that.

I only used two background from space quest in the demo . "Kaboom" and "the space" rooms and the wolf speaking's animtion from the King Quest 5.  I think that's ok. I will escape.

Aww man Fribbi, that stinks.
So you're not going to finish this? Man.....and I really liked the demo!
Don't feel discourages though, same thing has happened to all of us. Happened to Khaveen. Happened to me. Now it's happened to you. It must feel bad though, second big game you were working on, now it's gone.
You could either start a new game.....or you could help an existing game team get a game get put together (such as Dogma Day Games or Infamous Adventures)
