Regarding version 4.0: You should uninstall or delete any previous version of the King's Quest I remake from your hard drive prior to installing version 4.0. Furthermore, saved games from previous versions of the King's Quest I remake are not compatible with version 4.0. Note that this release no longer supports translation packs and the digital music and speech packs are no longer separate downloads. They are included with the game.

- 1 MB Video RAM (2 MB recommended)
- Pentium or higher processor (233 MHz or above required)
- 16 MB RAM - Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Vista- DirectX 5 or above (DirectX 10 or higher recommended)
- Approximately 139 MB free disk space
- Up to 100 MB additional free space for save-game files
- 1 MB Video RAM (2 MB Recommended)
- DirectX compatible digital sound card

Translation Packs
King's Quest I version 4.0 no longer supports translation packs.
There will be no future translation packs released for AGDI's King's Quest I remake.
