Hello again, To respond to the recent posts, I just wanted to say that this game isn't dead, nor will I ever let it. It's just in limbo right now. I've almost been a one-man team since the start, I've gotten some great help from some great people, but I can't seem to get anything consistent. I'm get...

Two weeks left until my summer break, and then I want to get this game back in production and get a website up and running for it. Unfortunately I had a bit of trouble keeping team members, with everyone's conflicting schedules including my own, the game fell into limbo for the moment. But I hope to...

DCS, I scouted for a 3D artist for the sprites. And I really lucked out. She creates and renders a 3D model for easy animation, then we put several frames from that and put it into AGS. I felt that a 3D model was the only sprite I could use to work on the background style. And as far as the backgrou...

Thanks. I got another screen up, and again the sprite isn't the final version. Her arms will come down, I assure you. http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/481/lbdemopicture2ua7.jpg Also, I am looking for: STORY WRITERS: Creative people looking to work in a small group, to look over the original story,...

Sorry about the late response. The game is still in very early development stages. And I'm afraid that since I'm more of the artistic mind than the group leader type, that the game went into hiatus for a bit and most of the members I had, scattered. But I am picking the game back up as a New Year's ...

I love that I made this forum. Just when I think it's dead, it suddenly revives with a surge of energy! I want to thank everyone for commenting their ideas for the remake. And just to let you know, even with the strong opposing views, I am making note of everything. So don't feel that you are retypi...

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with those who feel that the story and characters are "perfect" or "complex."   In short, the story and characters should be expanded, A LOT. Make us care about them, so that when they start turning up dead, we are genuinely sorry.  How...

Re: ABOUT THE PEOPLE IN COLONEL'S BEUQEST REMANKE

HOW WILL THEY LOOK, WILL THE CLOCK BE CHANGE ANY WAY. THE COLONEL'S GRAPHICS WILL HAVE TO LOOK LIKE KQ3 REMAKE.  :D I HOPE IN THE NEW GAME YOU CAN REVIEW YOUR NOTES. How odd. I wasn't expecting this forum to be updated anymore. Thanks DKorn for your comments. We are currently working on the graphic...

Kurdt , thank you again for your comments. You're a fan that makes me glad that I'm taking this project on. And I hear you about the characters being mostly developed in the manual descriptions. We are definitely looking on bringing that background into the game more. We are going to take the infor...

Sorry about the bold text, old habit!  ;) Kurdt , I thank you for your advice. As a fellow fan of the game, I hear where you are coming from. I didn't realize how important keeping to the original story was, until I read all of the posts here. So, thanks to everyone for letting me know. I'll go back...

IMHO, I don't see how you could change this in the game without tampering with the original in an extreme way. You're right, I didn't word myself well. We are planning on addressing issues, like the ones I listed above, while trying to keep the basic story intact. We are just going to expand on it ...

Hah, thanks for your suggestion, and I totally understand where you are coming from. We are trying to stay as true to the original as possible. But even as much of a hardcore fan of the game as I am, I still feel that the game wasn't perfect. So, we are trying to make the story more cohesive and gi...

"Colonel's Bequest Remake"

http://img112.imageshack.us/img112/6277/promo1jd9.jpg Hey Everyone! NOTE : First off, we just want to state that we know there have been a couple of other remakes of this game announced. And we are in no way attached to either of the " Colonels Bequest Remake/Repaint " or " Jodokast ...
