I've read through that before note my post there. I cannot however make a single action the action bar remains gray until I am killed.

ummm anyone know why I dont even get a few seconds? after the dialogue i am immediately killed

the same thing happens to me on vista Im thinking I may have to go back to before the birth gem to fix it

after eating the mushroom then exiting the cave the game crashes with a script error any help?

I fixed this actually by downloading AGS itself.

renaming kqvga.exe to ac2game.dat then changing ags's executable file to kqvga.exe seems to fix the problem
