Re: Please make easy combat patch !!!
While the fighting in the game is challenging I don't think that patching it to make it easier/simpler is a practical option. It's a major element of the game and it rewards people who build up their skills. It is also a hundred times better than the fighting engines in any other QFG game. May as we...

Re: Is there any reason to kill the terrorsaurus in this remake?
When they headbutt me and grab me in their jaws I go into a blind rage. They should drop some sort of hero vitamins or something for your efforts; but life isn't fair is it?

Re: jackalman fight reward amount
Make sure you search the separate "piles' of dead bodies. I'm not sure if when two/three creatures stack if their Dinars add to each other but if you're good you can kill them one after another so the fall down on empty space without ending up piled on their comrades then you can search them on...

(Once you've gotten adept at his game, you realize how boneheaded many of Keapon's moves are, but that's kind of a good thing.) Hey, I recall various beta testers begging me to tone him down. http://www.agdinteractive.com/forum/images/avatars/moodpics/Nashhah.jpg *thinks back to the many times that...

I'm really happy that they liked it so much. That kind of approval has to go a long way!
Thanks for the link too I didn't know that they had a new blog.

I have also noticed that at nighttime when I would practice lock picking on a door that had a vacant Katta merchant booth in the same area I couldn't lock pick due to the merchant being able to see. Anyone else have this happen?

I bought the Saurus and never rode it any. 3-4 full water skins and I can go anywhere in the desert to level up without worrying much.

Way too hard playing QFG 3 now!
I spent so much time training my characters for their eventual transitions to QFG 3... and now that I am actually playing it again in DOSBox I find that is it so much harder to play. I think the impossible has happened and QFG 2 has become my new favorite of the series just based on how great the ga...

Re: combat questions (magic user)
Just a tip based on my play through as a magic user; before you begin fighting cast zap every time. That way your first strike will almost always knock the enemy back giving you time to back up once and then cast/charge cast fire ball or force bolt. Then keep shooting spells as much as possible unti...

I bought the Game Box from a merchant and it appeared leaning against the chest where the bumper sticker is in the above screencap. Maybe you can only buy one or the other?hypn wrote:anyone else found, or used, the game box yet?

Here is something I made that gives two examples of how the game works that I didn't understand from the game's introduction:

Also: The grid can help too! Watch to see how bolts move between the grid lines.

Re: Good places to practice various skills...
That Griffin trick was the best. I was wondering why there wasn't any way of getting maxed communication skills in this game just from normal conversation and bartering (at least it wasn't the case for me!) and this will make it easier to afford potions to get my spell levels up

I encountered this same bug. I couldn't move after standing when I talked to Ferarri; however after some furious clicking I found that trying to sit back down by selecting the table made him sit and stand like a spaz and then i continued the game. Let me see if I have a save file... Edit: Sorry, I l...

Re: Thought Erasmus' Maze was hard? Try Keapon Laffin's game
Now that I can beat this game (and I did, twice!) I wanted to share a weird glitch I saw after I finished. When I started playing before it was getting dark and the game ended after the shop was supposed to be closed he made me leave; then after I walked out he made the fan appear and gave it to me....

Re: Thought Erasmus' Maze was hard? Try Keapon Laffin's game
The green line of the arrow on the prisms indicates the starting direction of the bolt, the red part indicates the direction it'll bounce off to. Together they indicate the angle at which the bolt will be reflected. Casting trigger causes a prism to change through 6 different angles. (the arrow kin...

Re: Thought Erasmus' Maze was hard? Try Keapon Laffin's game
So... after trying again and again and again; anyone have any hints on how the holy hell this Laffin' Force Bolt game actually works? The introduction instructions and the grid seem completely meaningless when compared to the game in action. I am sure I am missing some key concept of game play that ...

Max alloted save files?
I was wondering if there is a way to manually change the number of save files I am allowed to make in a single folder; I maxed out and have plenty of HD space for this
